Vladimir Kagan Cloud Sofa for Directional

Serpentine sofa designed by the late Vladimir Kagan for Directional, circa 1980s. This rare example features an white ultrasuade upholstery with three round white base. The sofa is in great vintage condition. We also have the matching open arm sofa and a pair of Nautilus swiveling chairs being sold separately.

Vladimir Kagan (August 29, 1927 – April 7, 2016) was an American furniture designer. He was inducted in the Interior Designer Hall of Fame in 2009, 62 years after he started designing and producing furniture.
His Midcentury modern furniture, inspired by everything from antiques and nature to the Bauhaus, emphasizes comfort and functionality.
