Overview
A mid-century Danish modern teak highboard cabinet made by Bernhard Pedersen & Søn in the 1960s. A pair of tambour doors slides away to open the whole interior. That makes it just as useful as a dining room buffet, a bar or linen cabinet, or a storage piece in a living room or bedroom.
Design & Materials
The case is in warm teak and stands on tapered legs. The tambour doors have sculpted edges. Inside are three pull-out drawers with finger-jointed corners. Two of them are lined with green felt and fitted as silverware trays. The rest of the interior is open shelving, and all the shelves are adjustable. The tambour doors open and close very smoothly.
Condition Notes
Minor wear on the sides, in keeping with age and use.
