Description

A slim, elegant counter stool in black wrought iron, shaped to mimic bamboo with ringed "node" accents on the legs and back posts, ball finials, and a turned crest rail over a gently curved spindle back. The padded seat is upholstered in a blue and white damask print with a soft, washed indigo look, a fresh counterpoint to the dark iron. The Hollywood Regency and campaign-style detailing makes it equally at home at a kitchen island, a home bar or a café counter. Priced and sold individually. Five matching stools are available, so you can buy one, a pair, or the full set of five.

Design & Materials
Black-finished wrought iron frame in a faux-bamboo design with ringed joint accents, ball finials, a turned crest rail and nine vertical back spindles. Four slightly splayed legs on ball feet, braced by an H-stretcher and side stretchers that double as a footrest. Padded seat upholstered in a blue and white damask-print fabric. No maker's mark is visible, so no maker is attributed.

Condition Notes
Good vintage condition. Frames are sturdy with light rubs to the black finish consistent with age and use. Seats are clean and taut.
