A refined example of Danish mid-century office design, this Model 75 executive desk was designed by Gunni Omann and produced by Omann Jun Møbelfabrik in Denmark during the 1960s. The floating teak top features a gently rounded profile that extends gracefully beyond the twin pedestals, creating an elegant surfboard-like silhouette that is immediately recognizable as Omann's work.
Each pedestal houses three drawers with beautifully carved horizontal-groove teak pulls — a signature detail that adds both visual rhythm and tactile refinement. The two top drawers are lockable, fitted with original brass keyhole escutcheons, offering practical security for a working desk. The rear of the desk is equally considered: two open cubby compartments flank a central drop-down door compartment with chain support, enclosing a fixed interior shelf — ideal for concealed storage. An architectural H-frame stretcher connects each pedestal's tapered legs, lending structural integrity and visual weight appropriate to a piece of this scale.
Drawer interiors show excellent dovetail joinery with clean light teak and birch construction throughout. The desk presents in good vintage condition, consistent with its age and use as a working piece.
