Studio A Izmir Hammered Brass Coffee Table | Round Drum Form in Antique Brass | 34" Diameter

The Izmir hammered cocktail table by Studio A Home, the design arm of Global Views, in its antique brass finish. The whole drum is hand-hammered, so the surface catches light in thousands of small facets and shifts between warm gold and rosy copper depending on the room. The tapered cylinder form is heavy and grounded, works as a sculptural anchor in front of a sofa, and reads equally well in a modern, Moroccan-inflected, or collected-traditional interior. Currently retails new in the $2,300 to $3,100 range.

Design & Materials
Hand-hammered brass sheet over a metal drum frame, finished in antique brass with a naturally variegated patina. Slightly tapered cylindrical body, flat hammered top, open underside. A substantial piece that needs two people to move comfortably. No maker's plate is visible on the underside, so the Studio A attribution rests on the model identification.

Condition Notes
Very good pre-owned condition. Light surface scratches and a few small dings across the hammered top, consistent darkening and variation in the brass patina, a small nick at one point on the top edge, and some spotting to the unfinished interior. No dents to the body and it sits flat and stable.
