Here we have a mid-century modern table bench designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller Circa 1950s. Originally intended as a platform base for the Basic Cabinet Series, this versatile piece has many uses and can function as a living room coffee table, entryway, or bedroom seating bench. Constructed of contrasting solid maple slats supported by ebonized finger-jointed legs. The table is in good vintage condition. Some minor wear to the table top from age and use.
