Description

Overview

A mid-century modern high-back lounge chair by Adrian Pearsall, a hard-to-find design with a dramatic, sculptural silhouette. It has been freshly reupholstered and is ready to be the statement piece in a living room, reading corner or study.

Design & Materials

The tall, tapering winged back curves around the sitter and carries an adjustable headrest pillow on weighted straps, so it can be set at the height you like. The chair is covered in new plush golden yellow upholstery with contrast welting. It sits on a sculpted walnut base with angled, splayed legs, and the arms are finished with carved walnut caps.

Condition Notes

Very good vintage condition with new upholstery. There is one minor chip on a back leg that is not very visible in normal use (shown in the last photo).
