Bassett Furniture Walnut Chest on Chest Highboy Dresser, 1965 Mid Century Modern

Authentic mid century modern walnut chest on chest by Bassett Furniture, part of the “Denmark” collection introduced in 1965. American made and designed in the Danish modern style, this piece showcases the clean lines and sculptural details the line is known for.

The upper cabinet features a softly curved top edge and two doors with signature sculpted cutout pulls. Inside are two smaller drawers for organized storage. The lower section offers three spacious drawers with solid dovetail construction and the distinctive recessed diamond detail across the top drawer. The piece sits on tapered legs with a stretcher base, giving it a classic mid century profile.

Beautiful walnut grain throughout with warm, even tone. A functional and visually striking highboy that works well in bedroom, guest room, or modern interiors.
