Description

Overview

A mid-century Danish modern rosewood hutch and bookcase made by Omann Jun of Denmark, with the original maker's label reading "Model Nr. 10." It works well as a bookcase, a display cabinet or a dining room hutch, with glass-front display space above and closed storage below.

Design & Materials

The piece is in two sections, both in richly figured rosewood. The upper cabinet has a pair of framed glass doors that open to shelves. The lower cabinet has two solid rosewood doors. Behind them are two drawers lined with green felt and an adjustable shelf. The back still carries the original Omann Jun model label and a Danish instruction label for the glass-door cabinet.
