Description

A chunky, sun-warmed Danish modern lounge chair built from solid pine, with thick round post legs and broad flat arm rails that give it a relaxed, sculptural presence. The seat is a suspended canvas sling that cradles a deep button-tufted cushion in rich mustard gold velvet. Both the canvas and the upholstery are new, so it sits fresh and supportive while the frame keeps its honest vintage character. Low, wide and inviting, it works as well in a reading corner as in a cabin or a sunlit living room.

Design & Materials
Solid pine frame with turned cylindrical legs, flat arm and back rails, and exposed bolt joinery. The frame has a warm amber patina with visible knots and grain. New natural canvas sling seat carrying a new button-tufted cushion in mustard gold velvet, one continuous piece forming both seat and back. Unmarked, so no maker or designer is attributed.

Condition Notes
Good vintage condition. Canvas sling and upholstery are new. The pine frame shows minor wear consistent with age: small dings, light scuffs and some edge wear on the legs and rails. Structurally solid.
