A Danish modern four-drawer dresser in richly figured teak, by Arne Vodder. Full-width sculpted pulls are carved directly into each drawer front, and the back is finished in book-matched teak — so it can float in a room, sit at the foot of a bed, or work as a low storage piece in a living room or entry. One dresser, sold individually; a matching second example is also available if you'd like the pair.
Design & Materials
Solid and veneered teak with a warm, glowing patina and beautifully book-matched grain across the top, sides and back. Four graduated drawers, each hand-cut dovetailed at the corners and running smoothly on wood glides. Sculpted full-width drawer pulls, mitred case edges, and round tapered teak legs. Danish, c. 1960s.
Condition Notes
Very good vintage condition with light surface scratches to the teak top, visible in the detail photo. Structurally sound throughout, with all drawers sliding freely.
