Exceptional mid century modern dining table designed by Finn Juhl for John Stuart and France & Son, model FD 540. This highly regarded design showcases Finn Juhl’s sculptural approach to furniture, blending architectural form with refined Danish craftsmanship.
Crafted in beautifully grained teak, the table features elegant tapered legs and distinctive edge detailing that highlight the quality and precision of its construction. The proportions are clean and balanced, allowing the table to feel substantial while remaining visually light.
The table extends to an impressive 113 inches and includes two original leaves that store neatly inside the table, as shown in photos. The extension mechanism works smoothly, making it practical for both everyday use and larger gatherings.
