Description

This mid-century Danish bookcase was made by Hundevad, and the original Hundevad "Made in Denmark" label with the Danish Furnituremakers Control mark is still on the back. Two sliding glass doors keep books, ceramics and small collections on display without the dust, so it works as well in a living room or study as it does as a display cabinet in a dining room.

The case is in richly figured rosewood, with mirrored grain running down both sides and a lively, swirling pattern across the top. Behind the glass, each side has three shelves above the base. The doors glide on tracks with recessed finger pulls, and the case stands on four tapered legs.

Condition: Very good vintage condition, with normal wear consistent with age and use.

Measurements: 42.5"W × 12"D × 49.25"H
